On Thursday 12th October 2023, Music in Lanark held two very successful workshop concerts for the children of Lanark’s four Primary Schools.

The concerts were given by the Sirocco Winds quintet and were a huge success. The musicians were fantastic at pitching the event to children of primary school age – involving them throughout the hour and keepng them really engaged. As well as being entertained by the quintet’s superb playing, the children learnt lots about the instruments and were able to ask questions. The event ended with a very rousing sing-along to the song ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’ from the Disney film ‘Encanto’.
